After picking up participants from the specified points, we will start our night journey. During the journey, our comfortable vehicles will be in motion, and our tour guides will inform you and guide you about the preparations before the tour.
Day 2 - Adana - Stone Bridge - Sabancı Central Mosque - Halfeti - Boat Tour - Şanlıurfa
We arrive in Adana in the morning. After having breakfast, we begin our tour.
• Adana Stone Bridge: We visit the Stone Bridge, one of the most important symbols of Adana, located over the Seyhan River. We take photos in front of this historical structure, which dates back to the Roman Empire.
• Sabancı Central Mosque: This architecturally stunning building draws attention with its 32-meter main dome and 6 minarets. We explore the interior and receive information about the mosque's history from our guide.
• Halfeti Boat Tour: We take a boat ride to see the Kral Kızı Cave and Rumkale, which are submerged under the dam lake. Additionally, we may see the Sunken Minaret above the water surface. We take photos with these impressive views.
• Şanlıurfa - Balıklı Göl: We observe the sacred fish at Balıklı Göl, one of the most important religious and cultural sites in Şanlıurfa. According to the beliefs of the local people, killing fish in this lake is prohibited.
• Aynzeliha Lake: We explore the natural beauty and tranquility of Aynzeliha Lake, taking a moment to relax.
Free time: Free time is given for shopping in Şanlıurfa. You can buy local products and souvenirs.
Extra Traditional Music Night: Guests who wish can participate in a traditional music night to learn more about the region's culture. The traditional music night features Urfa's folk music and dances.
Accommodation: We check into our hotel in Şanlıurfa. Our hotels include Alahan Hotel, Harran Hotel, VE Hotel, and Dedeman Hotel.
Day 3 - Harran - Göbeklitepe - Mardin
After breakfast, we set off for our first stop in Harran.
• Harran: With a history of 5,000 years, we visit the historic Beehive Houses and Harran University. Harran was one of the important centers of ancient Mesopotamia.
• Göbeklitepe: We explore the archaeological site of Göbeklitepe, considered one of the world's first temples, and gain insights into prehistory. Göbeklitepe is notably on the UNESCO World Heritage List due to its historical significance and stone structures.
Mardin;
• Kasımiye Medrese: We visit this 15th-century madrasa and examine Mardin's stone craftsmanship.
• Old Mardin Streets: We explore the labyrinthine narrow streets of Mardin, visiting significant structures such as Şeyh Çabuk Mosque, Cumhuriyet Square, and Latifiye Mosque.
• Mardin Ulu Mosque: We visit this mosque dating back to the 12th century and get a closer look at Mardin's historical character.
Accommodation: We stay in Mardin at hotels such as Anemon Hotel, Raymar Hotel, and Yay Grand Hotel.
Day 4 - Dara Ancient City - Midyat - Hasankeyf - Diyarbakır
Today we leave early and visit the important regions below:
• Dara Ancient City: We will explore the significant ancient city of Dara in Mesopotamia. We will visit the rock tombs and water reservoirs from the 4th century and witness history.
• Midyat: In Midyat, known as the center of Telkari art, we can shop at the Telkari Workshop and learn about the region's craftsmanship. We also visit the Guesthouse where the TV series Sıla was filmed.
• Hasankeyf: We explore Hasankeyf, which has a history of thousands of years, closely examining this ancient settlement that has been submerged.
• Diyarbakır: On Gözlü Bridge: We see this historic bridge over the Tigris River and take photos.
• Hevsel Gardens and Goat Tower: We visit the Hevsel Gardens and Goat Tower, which are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
We explore Diyarbakır's most important religious structures: Ulu Mosque and the Four-Legged Minaret.
Accommodation: We stay in Adıyaman at hotels such as Dedeman Hotel and Taşsaray Bardakçı Hotel.
Day 5 - Mount Nemrut - Gaziantep
• Mount Nemrut Sunrise (Extra): We wake up early and climb Mount Nemrut to watch the sunrise. Here, we will be able to see the gigantic statues and rock tombs of the famous Commagene Kingdom.
• Gaziantep Zeugma Mosaic Museum: This museum is famous for its magnificent mosaics from the Roman period. We take a journey back in time at this museum filled with artifacts unearthed from the Zeugma Ancient City.
• Gaziantep Castle: We reach the city center and visit Gaziantep Castle, where we observe the city from a panoramic perspective.
After our shopping, we board our bus, concluding our Gap Tour with Turperest, and begin our return journey.
