General Information About Our Tour

Dear Guest;

First of all, thank you for choosing us. You can be sure that we will do our utmost to make your trip enjoyable. To make this beautiful journey even more enjoyable, we present some details below for your information.

Before the Trip

• Before going abroad, make sure that your passport's validity period is sufficient and that there is no tampering (tear, scraping, erasure, etc.) in your passport. Unless otherwise specified, your passport's validity period must be at least 6 months after your tour return date. If it is a country that applies a visa for Turkish citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport.

• If you are joining a tour that requires a visa, check the visa regime of the country you will be traveling to. You can access the detailed current list on visas applicable to Turkish citizens according to passport types at “http://www.mfa.gov.tr/turk-vatandaslarinin-tabi-oldugu-vize-uygulamalari.tr.mfa”.

• Many countries require the declaration of money and jewelry over a certain amount upon entry. This amount is generally 10,000 Euros and above.

• Keep the contact details of two people who can be reached in case something happens to you in your wallet and inside your passport.

• Make sure you have enough cash foreign currency with you. If possible, also take a credit card with you. In case your credit card is lost or stolen, note the bank phone numbers you can apply to in a separate place.

• It will be useful to take out private travel insurance. If you do not have travel insurance, remember that you may have to bear all the costs of any health issues you may encounter abroad on your own. If you do not have travel insurance, call your sales consultant immediately to purchase it.

• Before going abroad, take photos of the jewelry and valuable items you take with you. In case your jewelry or valuable items are stolen, these photos may serve as evidence to receive compensation from the insurance.

• If you are required to take medication regularly, do not forget to take a sufficient amount of medication with you. Pay attention to the expiration dates of the medicines you have with you.

• Do not take food items with you when going to a foreign country. Remember that it is forbidden to bring animal products (meat, milk, cheese, etc.) into many countries.

• Pregnant guests can travel with a report stating that "there is no harm in traveling by plane" from their doctors from the beginning of the 28th week to the end of the 35th week. Pregnant passengers are not allowed to travel after the 36th week, even with a doctor's report.

• You can quickly and securely purchase your exit tax at airport or border checkpoints. You can also obtain it from the bank if you wish.

Upon Entry to a Foreign Country

• You must have your Travel Insurance with you upon entry to the country and during your trip.

• For a country that requires a visa for Turkish citizens, remember that the visa you have obtained does not necessarily guarantee you entry into that country for yourself and your family members. This also applies to visa-free countries. In this context, answer carefully any questions directed to you by the related immigration authorities upon entry to the foreign country for which you have obtained a visa. Avoid entering unnecessary arguments with your interlocutors.

• Upon entry to a foreign country, remember that the relevant authorities (border police, customs officers, etc.) can check your personal belongings and, in this context, your luggage. Remain calm and act according to the local authorities' requests if you encounter such a demand.

• If you hold a Special (Green) Passport or Service (Gray) Passport, note that even if the country you are traveling to grants visa exemption to your passport, additional information and documents may be requested from you by border authorities upon entry to the country.

• Protect your passport. In case you lose your passport, temporary passports will be arranged for you by our Embassies and Consulates to facilitate your return to Turkey.

Notes from Us

• Hotel and tourism standards in our country are at an advanced level; the standards in the country you will be visiting may not be the same or may be at a lower level.

• Unless otherwise specified, hotels are distant from the city center.

• Group breakfasts may be served in a separate room and will not be in the standard of a Turkish breakfast. Serving breakfast in a separate room is not discrimination. It is a common international tourism practice often encountered in our country as well.

• Hotels do not allow food to be taken out of the breakfast room.

• In the tours you have purchased, if there are extra tours, they can be canceled or the day can be changed if there is not enough participation, approved by local authorities, in case of flight delays, or during extraordinary events like fairs or meetings in the city.

• We advise you to procure the foreign currency you plan to take with you from Turkey; you may not be able to exchange TL in the country you are visiting. If your trip is to the European continent, we recommend bringing Euros, or for other countries, bring Dollars with you.

• As our tours are generally culture tours, intense walking tours may occur during city tours; therefore, we recommend being prepared and dressing considering the season's conditions.

• Do not forget to bring items such as a hat, sunglasses, raincoat, and umbrella.

• Prefer dressing from thin to thick layers (you may sweat while walking, and feel cold when you stop).

• Your shoes should be suitable for walking.

• We recommend that passengers with children bring baby strollers; during walking, children may get tired, and a baby stroller will make your trip easier.

• Carrying a small backpack will benefit you. Carry your bag on your chest, not your back, to prevent theft and similar issues.

• Do not avoid taking some simple personal safety measures. For example, do not carry a large amount of jewelry during the trip.

• Our tours can be combined with guests from other agencies. Each agency is responsible for its guests.

• Panoramic city tours are 2-3 hours tours organized to introduce cities. • Triple rooms are provided based on hotel availability. In triple rooms, an extra bed application is offered, and the 3rd bed is smaller than the standard bed.

• In reservations with 2 adults + 1 child, a separate bed may not be available for the child.

• Hotel check-in times are determined by international rules, with check-in between 14:00 and 15:00. Check-out times are between 10:00 and 12:00. These times may change during special periods.

• Some of our programs are offered for sale based on several alternative hotels. Our programs with more than one hotel option may have the same guide and transfer vehicle.

• In cases where children under 18, who are not legally considered adults, do not participate in the tour with one or both parents, it is mandatory to have the necessary consent documents with the individuals during the trip.

• In the event of your flight being delayed, the places to be visited may change or be completely canceled, provided that the places visited remain the same. You can be sure that we will offer you the best alternative in this case.

• Meals, beverages, and online check-in services in some airlines may be subject to a fee.

• For air tours, check-in and boarding procedures, which are personal procedures that must be carried out by guests at airports check-in counters of the relevant airline before their flight or online on the airline companies' websites. Online check-ins generally start 24 hours in advance. Some airports may not allow Online Check-in.

• Any last-minute delays and gate changes in flights are announced audibly in airports and displayed on information boards in the area. You should follow this information.

• Our agency is not responsible for those who are not present at the airport at the times stated for participation in the tour, those who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures in time, those who complete check-in and boarding procedures in time but do not board the plane.

• Those who miss the plane are responsible for all costs required to join the tour, including new round-trip flight tickets and transfers in the region to be visited.

• If your tour involves more than one country and there is a border control in between, hotel entry may be delayed depending on waiting times at the borders.

• Adhering to the movement times given by your guide/tour leader will allow you to see more places and have a more enjoyable trip.
