1 Day: Istanbul- Venice Meeting in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at the Istanbul Airport International Terminal at 04:00. Departure to Venice at 07:00 with Turkish Airlines flight TK1867. Arrival at Venice airport at 08:30. We start our city tour with our private bus. From the Tronchetto port, the last access point for vehicles, we take a vaporetto to the historic island. After a pleasant vaporetto journey, we disembark near San Marco Square, the historical center of the city, and start our tour among the canals. Here, all the vehicles we are used to seeing in daily life such as police, ambulances, garbage trucks, city buses, etc., are replaced by boats. Walking from Slave Coast to San Marco Square, you can see the Venice prison and the "Ponte dei Sospiri" Bridge of Sighs connecting the prison with the Doge's Palace, San Giorgio Island opposite the bridge, the twin columns called the entrance gate of the city on the main facade of the Doge's Palace, and the statues which are the symbols of Venice on these columns. The square where the San Marco Cathedral is located was named "the most beautiful square in the world" by Napoleon. Although the construction of the cathedral was completed in the 9th century, it took until the 17th century to reach its current state. The four bronze horses you will see on the main facade were brought from Istanbul after the Second Crusade. During your free time, you can watch the statues at the top of the clock tower hit the bell every hour, and go up to the Bell Tower to see the whole view of Venice from above. After a short walk, the "Ponte Rialto," which was the first stone bridge on the "Canal Grande" Grand Canal known as the commercial center, will be seen. After our tour, free time. Meeting at the time determined by our guide and overnight at our hotel. 2 Day: Venice After breakfast, we head to Verona. Once part of the Venetian Republic for centuries, we see the ducal palace of Verona, still used as a marketplace, Erbe Square, and in Erbe Square, Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after Rome's Colosseum. After seeing the Scaligeri family tombs, who governed Verona, we panoramically view the house where English playwright William Shakespeare's inspiration Romeo and Juliet were born. After our Verona tour, we head to Sirmione - Lake Garda. At the entrance of Sirmione town, the pearl of Lake Garda, Italy's largest lake, you are met by the Scaligero Castle dating back to the 13th century.
