After meeting with you, we start our journey to the Alaçatı Herb Festival Tour with our buses. We reach our beautiful İzmir with the first light of day. We begin the day in a beautiful and energetic way with a breakfast prepared for us in İzmir Çiçekliköy in a green and natural setting. (Extra) After our breakfast, we pass to our vehicle and begin our panoramic tour with our guide, including İzmir Konak Square, Kordon, Clock Tower, Government Office, and Elevator. Then, we head to Çeşme, known for its blue flag beaches, white sandy beaches, and endless entertainment life. Our first stop in Çeşme is Çeşme Castle. We listen to our guide's narration accompanied by the magnificent view of the castle. After the Çeşme Castle, we visit the monument of Cezayirli Gazi Hasan Pasha, an Ottoman statesman and soldier known for walking around with a lion he had domesticated. After our visit here, we see the Caravanserai, built by Suleiman the Magnificent in 1528, and listen to general information about the caravanserai and Çeşme from our guide. After our guide's informative narration, we proceed to Alaçatı for the Alaçatı Herb Festival. According to legend, 1001 types of herbs grow in Alaçatı, but no one can collect them alone. To uncover the secret of this legend, we participate in the Alaçatı Herb Festival organized by the Alaçatı Art and Culture Association and the Municipality of Çeşme. In the festival, organized to promote the richness of Alaçatı's nature, the variety of herbs, and to preserve traditional dishes made with these herbs, meals made with herbs specific to Alaçatı are prepared. This year's main theme is mallow, which grows by the sea, in swamps and riverbanks, and in humid environments. Throughout the festival, there will be cooking competitions with mallow dishes. We will take our places in the streets where Arnavut pavement stones meet Rum and Ottoman architecture, watching producer's herbal stalls and the parade within the enthusiastic crowd. We will have the opportunity to taste both paid and free dishes presented at stands provided by the Festival Committee and prepared by renowned gourmets and competition entrants. After the festival, to relieve the fatigue of the day, we head back to our hotel. Accommodation and dinner at our hotel.
